I've hit a plateau! What should I do?
166.0 lb Lost so far: 7.0 lb.    Still to go: 31.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 4.2 lb a week

First don't panic. You are at the same weight for only 6 days and with a one lb gain. A plateau is characterized as weeks at the same weight. Exmine what it is you are doing..any treats over the week? Drinking all your water? Measure yourself..have you loast inches? What is your exercise like? Follow phase 2 cleanly, keep at it, it will eventually start going down again.

hi shon- webeeme is right- plateau is 2 weeks with no loss of weight and/or inches. Have you measured your inches? sometimes your body loses inches instead! also, sometimes your body needs to catch up and re-group after weight loss. The 1 opound gain is meaningless as that couldbe just daily fluctuation- just stick to the plan and you will lose

Thanks ladies! You're right -- I'm overreacting. I have lost several inches. In fact, since I started FF I've lost 10% of my body fat. Thank you so much for the encouragement -- I needed it :)
