Lydia Kleyn's Journal, 08 March 2010

This is going to be the week I get into the 170's well it better be I am going to do everything possible, and watch the weight fall off. haha if it was only that simple. :-)
I ran a 3 miles on the treadmill this morning in less than 30 minutes didn't stop running once, so maybe I am becoming a runner after all. feels good to say that but still unbelievable, I use to workout at the gym and envy all those people that could run so effortless on the treadmill, but now I am one of them, practice really does pay off HAHA!!! So I am getting excited for my race next week, BRING IT ON I SAY!!!!!
This week I am going to pre record all my food in my journal so I know what Im eating before the day starts and see if that helps me stay in my calorie intake, only 3 weeks till vacation so it's time to buckle down and put 100% effort every day. :-)

K I do have to say even though the scale hasn't got down much lately, my clothes are definietly lose and I know I am losing a ton on inches, so I am not discourage at all, but it would be great to be in the 170's sometime soon :-)

Beautiful you are doing awesome, keep it up. Just stay FOCUSED and stay STRONG, I guess the biggest thing for me is I make sure I workout 6 days a week, no matter what no excuses, I don't always have my food intake under control, but I always make sure I get my workouts in, I think it's harder to slide off if you are still always working out, and if you get bored with your workouts change things up. And Im sure once you get closer to your goal weight you will be losing more inches rather than pounds

You've done so great! I'm sure you'll see the 170's soon! keep it up and praise God that you're establishing these great habits at such a young age. You will be forever happy you did this now... take from a 40 yr.old who's still working at it. : )

You're awesome :) Probably gaining that muscle from all the running! Do you take measurements too? I lost 3 inches off my hips in one month and totally attribute it to running. 170s? You'll get there and you'll never look back :)

Yay! 170's, here you come! I can't believe you did 5k in 30 mins... I envy those runners at the gym, and I envy YOU! You're going to do awesome on your race next week! Pre-recording my food is a HUGE help for me. It gets rid of the meal guesswork (super hard to prepare a healthy meal when you're hungry!) and keeps me from diving headfirst into the bag of tortilla chips! I'm so excited for you! You're doing great!

thanks everyone you encourage me every day to keep going, I have never taken measurement before but actually measure myself 3 weeks ago when I was at 185 pounds, and I have already lost inches since then, yes it's REWARDING to see numbers on the scale go down, but I know now as I get close to my goal the scale isn't going to move as fast, and I want to lose weight the healthy way and gain muscle as I do it
