My Aunt passed away on Friday morning. A sense of relief has come over our whole family knowing that she is no longer suffering. My heart aches for her daughters who have lost a big part of them selves this weekend. Your thoughts and prayers for her daughters are appreciated.

Needless to say, with everything hustle and bustle and sitting at a hospice all night for the past 2 weeks, I have not been able to make very good decisions. I also havent really wanted too. I know I have gained weight. Probably about 3 or 4 lbs if I had to guess. I REALLY dont want to get on the scale. I can tell in just how my clothes fit. And after it is all said and done, the Olive Garden, the chips and salsa, the pizza and the Joe Mama Cake - really wasnt even worth it. Comparing the 10 mins of good taste to the daily feeling of disgusting bloating, i'd rather eat a bowl of lettuce thanks.

So today is day 1 back on track. Today is the first day of the rest of my life. Today is the day that I start over, a new beginning if you will. I did not go to WW on Saturday but I will be there this cmoing Sat. I will record my weight then.

I'm sorry about your aunt. My prayers are with your family at this time. I am very inspired by your continuing to and getting back on track with your well-being even through hardship. Great job!

I'm sorry to hear about your aunt. But, as you said, she is no longer suffering. As far as the regretful eating is concerned, you did what you needed to do to get through that time. So leave that in the past. You sound positive. Keep with that feeling.

I'm sorry for your loss and that of your family. I say everyday is a chance to start anew, and regrets get in the way of progress. We all make bad decisions from time to time and unfortunetly family crisis are always hard. I'm glad you are not giving up and are ready to get back on track.
