Going to only try and weigh in once a week maybe twice. Its hard to diet during the winter but I'm going to work really hard at it. My sister is going on a cruise in Jan. So I told her I would diet with her to help out with not just doing by herself. We talk everyday so we try and motivate eachother. I told her about this web site but she hasn't got on it yet.

But for me and loosing I've set small goals for me. Then when I reach them I will set new ones. Need to get back to running or walking more. My only problem is I love to run out side but its really cold. I have a treadmill and really need to use it. I need to figure out something for that I get really bored on the treadmill and loose intrest after about the 1st mile.

But hopefully I figure it out fast I've set a long term goal of being down in the high 140 by my birthday the end of Feb. Need to stay in this frame of mind and not just say I'll just be big forever.

I find that listening to my favorite music helps a lot when working out. If it is songs I know, I lip-sync to them as I go and it helps me keep a rhythm and makes the time go faster. My husband gave me an early Christmas present--an iPod shuffle--he gave it to me early so I could take it to the gym.

I agree with sararay that music really can keep you motivated. If that really doesn't work for you, then maybe try and still run outside. Once you get going you really do warm up. My friend and I used to walk a couple of miles almost every day no matter what the weather. It really is hard to get motivated to go out the door when its cold but if you do you will feel so good about yourself!!

I dont have a treadmill, but a stationary bike. I prop my laptop on it while playing yahoo games and sweating! The hour goes by so quickly! MP3 players are awesome too!
