I love Monday mornings. I will have a full day at getting things done. I hope Daniel goes to his Elks meeting tonight, this will give me some ME time. There is a potluck this Thursday and I want to go prepared. Maybe an all you can eat Vegy day and fruit. Time to get to work, so much to do in so little time.

Hey Joan 1958, it sounds like you have learn a lot about preparing for potlucks/parties and other social functions. My husband is an Elk Member here in South Mississippi and boy do they know how to feed you!!So, I too eat before going to a function to take the edge off and not everything is tempting. Sometimes, I still make the wrong choices, but when I know those brownies/cakes and cookies are all home made it sure is hard to resist. Overall, my choices have improved, I don't eat as much as I use too and this comes from being prepared and not going 6 hours or longer in between meals. So, I am wishing you the Best of Luck in your Journey, it sounds like you are headed in the right direction.
