Gokona, I love and am so thankful for the encouragement. I am learning now how to make time for me and not forgetting to take care of me as well as my family!! I think that is a hard lesson to learn when you are a wife, mama and a carer as well. oxo

Good work. One thing I find helpful is to see junk food (shop bought biscuits/chips/take away food) as a ploy to sell me something to make someone else rich while not caring if it kills me (like cigarettes), rather than as a treat. Not sure if that would work for you, but when I look at chocolate this way, it makes it far less tempting. Good luck.

And PS: If you're in Southern Australia, raspberries, strawberries and blueberries are a great sweet treat and cheaper per kilo than chocolate (especially at the moment). Dates are great too, I find they satisfy my sweet tooth but I can't eat as many as I could chocolate biscuits. Hope some of that is helpful.

Berries are fine, dates are worse than (some) chocolate. Stick to berries, avoid dates. WAAAY too many carbs, over 75%! No dates!

that can be a good thing that they have many carbs, you need to fill your macros, thats the key to everything, if you need more carbs things such as dates are a good thing to eat to get what your body needs without earing food that contain empty carbs(junk food)
