Today is almost over. I boiled up some green beans with a little bacon and threw in a turnip, half for me and half for my husband. It is good to have something hot and hearty like that for dinner because it keeps you full longer and doesn't cost many calories. I use 4% cottage and also turnips to replace potatoes. The 4% cottage cheese has fewer carbs than 2% and the turnips are also low in carbs.
It is still cold here, but the snow is gone. I was loving the warmer weather, I want it back! At least I don't live in the north east where they are dealing with a blizzard and 8-12 inches of snow!
