I think they're still $1/pound, I'm hoping to pick up a couple more later today. I don't think I'll ever get tired of eating this stuff, it's just too good.

@ClassicRocker- Texas! H-E-B has T-Bone steaks on sale for $3.51/pound this week. Pork Butt stays between 77¢ and $1.47/pound pretty much year-round. Poor pig, indeed, tasty though.

That looks great I have one in the freezer wanted to cook it Sat but my DH wanted ribs. I don't like beef but love pork probably because I grew up eating it my dad would never let us around the pigs because he was afraid we would make pets of them. But what I buy now isn't quiet as good as what daddy raised. Enjoy some for me.

I love pork and the fat too. Will keep a sharp eye out for any on sale. Nothing priced like that up here in my neck of the woods in PA.

When I'm being strict I stop eating when hunger is gone, and that's usually not much. When i was weighing everything out my portions were four ounces of pork roast with an avocado or some low starch vegetables. I'm currently not being particularly strict and I'm probably eating about eight ounces per serving. I ate a twelve ounce T-Bone the other night, sure was good and I've been meaning to post a journal asking, "which part of a t-bone do you eat first, strip or tenderloin?" Me, I eat the strip first and savor the tenderloin (or filet, if you prefer). Good stuff!

I was just curious what a list-keeper drove. lol If you were buying a car just for fun, not to hop up, but still a classic, or at least an antique, what would you buy?
