You see a lot of advice on FatSecret, and a lot of the advice you see conflicts, and a lot of the advice-givers are in active conflict with each other. It's an unfortunate thing, but that's the nature of human endeavor; everyone has an opinion. I can tell you, what I'm currently doing in regards to diet and exercise isn't what I was doing a year ago, and if I were doing then what I'm doing now I probably wouldn't have lost the staggering sum that I've accomplished. If you run across anyone on your weight loss journey that proclaims to have found the secret, the one way, I suggest you ignore them and figure out what works for you. That takes research, reading, and the ability to assimilate what you read. And dedication. If you're not actually following a plan, you really can't expect results. Honesty, dedication, and perseverance are as vitally important as choosing the right way for your own individual needs. All too often you see people spinning their wheels, and I can pretty much guarantee you that those people aren't being honest, think they already know everything, and are probably freely doling out advice about things of which they honestly have no clue. Pick a path, learn everything there is to know about that path, then pick something that's the polar opposite and learn everything about that, too, because you can never have too much knowledge. And if you are having success, congratulations, it's exciting and I know you want to pass on what you've learned, but remember, everyone has to learn for themselves, "you got to go there to know there", don't deprive others of the learning experience, just because you can do a thing doesn't mean you should! Have a great Sunday, everyone, and let's all collectively wish painful testicles on Tom Brady, hopefully that will be enough to make him choke on this fine Super Bowl Sunday!
