I'm suffering from planters fascists. I have awful heel pain so exercise is down to nothing. Does anyone have any advice on other things I can do to stay in shape?
173.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 13.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 0.9 lb a week

You may also want to check with an orthopaedist. They can design some orthotics that will allow you to exercise while you heal and become stronger.

Ditto VeggieJunkie!! Pilates and Yoga=not jarring and not pounding your feet. Orthotics and foot exercises=NO pain anymore for me. I live in my New Balance shoes. Avoid heels, flats.....basically anything that isn't going to support the foot well. Rolling your feet over a rolling pin is a great workout for your feet.

I was one of the lucky ones. My doctor prescribed some stretches and exercises and it went away. Trust your doctor...
