It's so hard to start a diet and stick with it. Especially with little ones in the house or the late night hunger. I am doing well so far.....hopefully it will continue

I totally understand! How old are your kids? Mine are almost 3 and 4 and they want snacks constantly, which makes dieting extra hard. Also, I have to try to not finish their lunch for them :-). By the time they are in bed at 8, I feel like relaxing which means eating something. Very hard to change these habits when all the forces around you aren't helping.

Hear! Hear! Same at my house...I have 2 kiddos my daughter is 7 and my son is 3. Very hard, because we always have snacks for them and stuff to go in their lunches. My kids go to be at 9pm and then for me its almost impossible not to snack. It seems like that is the first time in the evening I have to relax and sit down...and thats when I want to snack. I have been trying to leave my self 2 pts for my late snack and then I can have a 100 calorie pack of popcorn or frozen yogurt. I would fail miserably if I tried not to snack at night.....

I have 4 kids, 12, 11, 4, and 13 months. My husband likes his sweets and never gains any weight so we always have something in the house. My one son is in soccer and we are constantly moving and eating at odd hours: this doesn't help. He plays all year round and we are getting ready to travel to VA and then NJ this summer. So it is tough eating good when you are out.
