Today didn't begin very smoothly. My alarm didn't go off at 5:30 as usual so I could begin my 1hr commute. It seems like I am catching up, and will forever be playing catch up the entire day.

I like to get to work at 7 so I can leave at 4 and avoid the worst of the Charlotte rush hour traffic. That won't be happening today. I have a developer meeting with client at 4(yay...not really :() just so they can demo a proof of concept for a system they want to implement. Came into work and there is an email waiting for me from the BA who wants to know where their project is...Monday morning it's nice to see you again after a weekend of catching up with friends who I hadn't seen since graduation or getting a job.

The diet is going well. I did have two potato wedges and half a table spoon of mushroom rice at my friends dinner party Sunday night. He went to the trouble of cooking, I wasn't going to be rude. The sweetie texted me about losing another 2lbs. I weighed myself on Sat, and thought I entered it in but nope. Doesn't count if you don't record it. Sometime this week I will hop on the scale. Hoping for the best.
