Good afternoon all. Today has been a sad day in the county i live in. We laid to rest our county Fire Chief today. It was a huge funeral as several departments sent reps to it. So it is not a happy ending to a long and stressful week. I will be glad to put this week in the past. So many things have happened and i have yet get to the gym this week but i am bound and determined to get there tonight. I am going to get some very much needed stress relief. this weekend i will be moving furniture out of the house i am moving into and next wkend will be my wkend to move in.
Anyway, enough of my running my mouth. You guys have a great day and a great weekend. And thanks for listening.

Good plan for the weekend!

the service lasted 2 hrs and then at the graveside it lasted almost 2 hrs. i couldnt stay for the graveside because i had to get to work. They retired his badge and number, rang the bell for him to go home, and played bagpipes. Several of the ladder trucks were raised in an X shape to honor him.

Wow, so sorry to hear that Tina, we just had a near miss with our Police Chief, but he is out of the woods and resting comfortably right now. These small towns get flipped all upside down when one of our leaders is incapacitated!
