Busted pipes?

Oh yeah... We live in the basement part of a house which was converted into an apartment. I noticed the pipes overhead in the furnace room leaking so we called the manager and they were here yesterday. The repairman did a quick fix that didn't hold so they're coming back today and I'm STILL trying to unpack. I know.. deep breaths Ruby (smiles)

Well, at least my blood sugars are better. That whole stressful episode starting weeks ago sent my morning bg's well over 130! It's amazing what stress does to the body. I imagine it'll be a roller coaster there for a while until I get settled.

Meanwhile I need to get to Walmart as I've tried to set up my meds online but it's not working so I need to go in. I've never used their pharmacy before and since I'm transferring my meds from a small town drug store... there you have it. It makes getting things done SO challenging since my son works swings so he's only up about 11 am and needs to leave for work by 2 or 2:30, most days. Sigh..I was suppose to refill my meds yesterday... It just can't be helped right at the moment. I'm sure I can go tomorrow.

Also, the owner has had complaints about my dog barking incessantly when I'm gone from home so it looks like I may not get to keep her.

I know... breath...

Thanks Bren. I've tried that. Even when I leave her with someone else she knows she tends to bark as soon as I go out the door. I think she'd do better if she had a playmate (another little dog) but I can't do that. I'm really sad about this.

Awwww I am too..wish I could take her for ya..she would be spoiled and loved..but I just can't have one here either.. the coyotes would make a meal of her...if she was to get out...we had to give my out side dog away for that reason..he was barking and I went to the door to see what was going on and there was a coyote trying to get him...I flashed the out side light on and off until he left..brought him in for the night and he peed on everything..not to mention my poodle was so disgusted with him..you could just see in her face and what she was thinking..ooh a dog in my house...LOL

Oh, Ruby, I am so sorry that you may have to give up Solace...that stinks. Wish there was some way to comfort her while you are not there. Have a good weekend!

Oh Stef, tis so true. I wish I could keep her but have been looking to pet adoption agencies this week. I would give her to a good home myself if I knew anyone around here but being as I've just moved, I don't know anyone yet. The whole thing is so very painful. I'm so attatched to her. Sigh..life is chock full of tough decisions...
