Can someone help me?

What do you think? Im not necessarily following any type of diet, but it kind of seems like Atkins, just lean proteins, right? If so, should I switch to Atkins. What Im eating, is it on track, so to speak. Anyone ever do Lindora? am I eating enough calories.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Breakfast: Hard Boil Egg, and half apple
Snack - Protein Bar
Lunch - Chicken strips (Grilled) 200 calories, 2 carbs,
Snack - cottage cheese that comes in individual containter
Dinner - Chicken Breast, and mixed veggies
Snack - Jicama

Thank you.

You may want to look in the Adkins section on this web site for additional information. I think it is best to pick a plan you will feel most comfortable with and then stick with it. Try one that fits best into your lifestyle eating plan and one that you can continue for years to come. Some diets are nice because you lose weight quickly however you should think about what will happen when you go back to your regular eating habits... if you do. Good luck on your search I hope you find a plan that works for you!

I have found Atkins to be a very effective and healthy way of eating. You need to look at this as a lifestyle change and not a "diet." I am currently doing fat flush because it is also controlled carb and targets some of the issues I was having (slow metabolism, on birth control pills) with weight loss. I am hoping to take the best of both plans and incorporate them into a maintainence lifestyle. If you are leaning towards Atkins I highly recommend that you read the book so that you fully understand the plan. I gained many health benefits from the Atkins plan...more energy and lowered cholesterol to name a couple. Good luck!
