Getting flustered with the whole yo-yo lose/gain mumbo jumbo going on over here. I'm hovering and it's driving me nuts!! (short drive, rough road but still, cut me some slack!) I haven't deviated from the lifestyle even a little bit and still I'm bouncing. I was going to go down and get a tape measure but there just isn't enough money this month. I'm still reeling from Christmas. I have some quarters in a jar that I can cash out for the purpose of getting a tape measure but it'll have to wait until Saturday or Monday. The bank will be closed by the time grammy and grandy get back from the movies. It's their first outing together in a really long time and they both need this so I'm not going to interfere. My mom and my son can go and I can wait.

I FINALLY got my computer back!! So now I can keep up with the times and not have to worry about who's going to holler because I'm on their computer! Now just to get the websites to co-operate with me!!

Hi :) You don't need a tape measure. Just use a piece of string, or ribbon, a piece of cloth or a belt. All you need is something flexible to go round you, and non elastic so the length is constant. Mark your measure on it, or use it to mark somewhere else, like a wall, just like you did with your son as he was growing. Keep a note in your diary or journal if you want. You will see if you are shrinking or growing, you don't need to know the number.

^^ this! I tied 2 knots in the draw string of my pants where the two sides meet in the beginning. Do yourself a favor, have confidence in the lifestyle & don't weigh too often.

Use a piece of string or yarn. Measure, cut and label. In a month or so, use those same pieces to re measure yourself and see the difference . Save your money.
