Packing on the protein again, it does help curb that mid morning hunger.
I believe this minor nausea this past two days may be caused by ketosis. Hoping I can tolerate breakfast….

Yesterday I did the prep work of making hard boiled eggs and also Bacon & Egg cups to make things easier for me. Bacon & Egg cups are easy to make btw. Partially cook some bacon slices in the oven at 350F for about 15 min, remove to a plate. Once the bacon is cool enough to handle, line a muffin tin (I use a silicone muffin cup inside my metal muffin tin) with the bacon - 1 for each cup. Next, crack in an egg into each cup. Put it back in the 350F oven and bake for 30 minutes. Remove and let cool and then store in the fridge. Two or three are good for a meal on the go ;)

For some reason using a Neti pot … it clears the brain fog helps with Ketosis and some nu salt in some mineral water to drink help with your electrolytes… your breakfast looks wonderful ❤️

Breakfast is a teaser for me I love bacon and I love to cook the potatoes more than anything so I had to give it up, in doing so I have noticed my stomach getting smaller and less inflammation, I hated feeling bloated all the pm

My usually everyday is breakfast is 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, 2 slices of rye or sourdough bread. It’s usually around 550 calories and I follow it with rule 1 casein protein. I work 12 hour shifts so I start my day at 3am with the gym, then breakfast with protein. My calories are usually around 1150 after breakfast with protein and my protein intake is about 130. The casein protein is slow digesting so I don’t feel hungry while at work and I can make it through the day. My dinner is usually a lean meat or poultry with white rice :)

Darc- I love rye bread I’m going to need to work some sustaining carbs back into my diet eventually that sounds so good! Oh my I’ll make a Reuben lol!

Bonnie- I definitely need some electrolytes… I’ve been in a fog all day

Lucretia- I deal with inflammation from rheumatoid arthritis… I was lagging everyday, having 2-3 naps from taking pain meds… I have other issues that contribute to chronic pain as well…back on keto has made a difference in just a week..the only major problem is restless legs that gets worse on keto, I think Bonnie’s suggestion of electrolytes will help with that Isn’t the bloating awful? The effort has helped me

I tried Keto and couldn't keep up with it , my shot thyroid makes my body think it's hungry 24/7 .I will try again later I guess.

Kalnwi- it’s a commitment and not for everyone.. I’ve done it before and dropped 37 lbs in a few months, BUT I will only follow strict keto for a few months then I’ll switch to “dirty” keto and up my carb intake a bit. Maybe you can explore other diet options, certain ways of eating are not for everyone. My failure last time with keeping the weight off was deep depression over the loss of my grandson..I didn’t care about me for a long time.. Wishing you well! 😀
