Does anyone else scroll through the food photos hoping for some inspiration? Ours is mostly an ingredient household, although we do have some meals in the freezer. I'm hungry but nothing looks good, or it's too much trouble, or yadda yadda. You know.... 🙃😉

I scroll to see the things I love but have given up. haha. I enjoy seeing how different everyone approaches things. I do get ideas but I'm too tired to cook a lot so my menu is a bit boring.

Mine too -- boring. I finally pulled a frozen meal from the freezer. Thank goodness breakfast included 2 cups of Brussels sprouts. At least I got in my green vegetables for the day.

I often have to cook in bulk and have developed some kind of modular system by which most components of any meal work well with other meals. For instance, turkey meatloaf muffins can be added to soup, or with eggs, or in a wrap/on a bun.

keep it simple, soup and veggies, or just some meat and salad. I get the same way, but according to this app and the guidance, it's important to eat, unless you're fasting, skipping meals is supposedly not a good thing.

I do! But if it’s a work week day, I’m keeping it simple due to exhaustion from work! So, I try & prep food for the week on Sundays that I’m in the mood for. I try to rotate meals and that helps with food boredom. But, I keep some meals the same because I find them satisfying. I only try new recipes on the weekend when I have more energy. :) For this week, I had a whole chicken & its bone broth prepped so when I get home from work, I’ve been making Mexican Soup. 100g homemade bone broth, 4-5 oz chicken, 1 serving Tostitos Con Queso, 1 serving salsa verde. Stick it in the microwave for 2 minutes! Another idea I thought of was to make single serving chicken salad sandwiches out of the chicken. I also always keep boiled eggs and other healthy snacks prepped.

I try to make one dessert each week so I have an option for something sweet. I also like to keep some chocolate chips in the house for snacking. A favorite is figs and peanut butter.
