Talked with my trainer buddy and decided to take the rest of this month off from heavy lifting. The last four months were awesome! But I need to rest and recover. Not only did the weights get a little lighter but changing mindset feels like a huge weight being lifted too 😆 It feels great to do workouts just because it feels good to move and get the heart going, and not because I’m trying to get stronger. Did some chest and arm exercises yesterday, a short jog and a few squat variations today. Brain feels good, body feels good, and it’s a beautiful sunny weekend. Happy weekend everyone 😄
