My doctor and I had been watchiing my blood pressure for a few years, and finally we agreed that I start on Valsartan to lower it. After 2 weeks of being on the drug, I have to say I feel much better and feel like exercising in this beautiful weather we are having now. My goal is to reach 135 lbs. I'm eating much better too. Smoothies for breakfast and smaller lunches and dinners. This will take some time.. but I hope to achieve it by the end of summer.

Diet Calendar Entry for 21 April 2015:
1115 kcal Fat: 45.71g | Prot: 70.42g | Carb: 111.85g.   Breakfast: Apples, Blueberries, Strawberries, Milk (2% Lowfat Without Added Vitamin A and Nonfat Solids). Lunch: Sugar, Tea (Brewed), Provolone Cheese, Martin's Sandwich Potato Rolls, Ground Beef (80% Lean / 20% Fat). Dinner: Baked Potato (Peel Eaten), Corn, Chicken Thigh (Skin Not Eaten). more...

Losing weight and getting fitter is a process. Eating right and exercise are key, it sounds like you have a plan to get you where you want to be. You can achieve your goals...stick to it a day at a time and you'll get there. :)
