I have been getting back on track after a full weekend of friends, family & fun. We did take a family hike on Sunday, and I am sure I burned extra calories pushing my complaining daughter up the hill she didn't really want to climb. :)
I got back to the gym yesterday and had a great workout with both cardio and strength training. I find it hard to believe, but I have actually gotten to the point where I miss the gym when I don't get there for two days!
Today, I went on a field trip with my daughter's class and there was a lot of walking, although it was all fairly slow. My daughter's teacher did ask me if I had lost weight--that made my day! :)
I have another hike planned with a friend tomorrow morning. This is in the park where I encountered a rattlesnake sunning by the side of the trail last week, so I will be sure to carry my snake bite kit.
