Transformation Butterfly's Journal, 25 March 2015

I am back after weeks of not having a computer. I have weeks of emails to catch up on, but first I needed to check into Fatsecret. My weight has gone up 1 lb since my last entry on March 2nd. Not too bad considering I have fallen of my food plan by eating chips, chocolate, cookies and cake. I could say,"I have no one to blame but myself, but that would not be the total truth. I have some very good friends who each told me to try one of the above items and it sent me into a downward spiral. I have not had potato chips in three years and I went through two bags of chips in one weekend.

I accept my down fall but as spring comes into place this is a new season and a renewal for all things including myself. I guess because I have not had access to a home computer that I spent a lot of time outdoors this month. I have lived in the same place for six years and never noticed that there are so my flowering trees within two hundred yards of my home. I honestly cannot tell you if it's because they all decided to bloom now or if I was so wrapped up in getting from point A-B and jut keep my head down and kept moving. I have been given a new opportunity at my job to learn an entire new function, (No talk for an increase that is desperately need) so I am totally out of my comfort zone there. I am being positive that this is another plus for my resume and an opportunity to grow in a new direction. The fitness center where I live has just finished installing two brand new Nautilus treadmills (Thank you after complaining for six years) and a new elliptical machine. I had seen commercials about Jillian Michaels workout on these new machines. If I lived in a house and not an apartment I would definitely have a workout room with one of these treadmills. Let me tell you it's kicking my butt, but I am finishing the complete workouts. (Huffing and puffing along with sweating something awful) So now I am really getting up at 4:00 am and working out since the time has changed, this has always been the best time for me to work out as I can get some quite time without distractions. I really need the workout as my stress levels are going up along with the temperature in Florida. (Sorry to all of my fatsecret buddies still shoveling snow current temperature right now is
76 and will drop to 69 tonight. Trust me this is a cool spell as I was born and raised here in Florida we love this time of year.) I also noticed a lot of people up walking this morning even though the FOG was so dense you could not see 100 feet in front of you. (Dangerous considering rush hour traffic in the AM. I am so grateful that the kids are out of school for Spring Break so chances of any accidents this morning with kids was very low.)

Okay Easter is right around the corner and I for one will not be having a visit from any chocolate Easter bunnies or eggs. (I just love the Russel Stover dark chocolate but I have to get back on track.)

Just finished making some homemade chicken soup tonight for dinner and left overs for lunch tomorrow.

I hope this season brings lots of other changes for positive outcomes for me and for all of you here at FATSECRET. New season new attitude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
175.0 lb Lost so far: 10.0 lb.    Still to go: 35.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Great way of thinking. We all enjoy some extra calories from time to time.

I had the same problems in January and February because the weather sucked! 12th slowest winter on record. But I've gotten it back together and I've lost 8.8 pounds since March 2 so well on my way to back where I was. You can do this too.

Sounds like you have everything under control. Funny, how with some foods we can really easily spiral down. I find it's with coffee and sugar. From then on, I just can't respect my eating plan.
