It's WINTER!!!! Huddled under a blanket, sipping tea, as heating issues in building. Snowy streets. Fake fireplace crackling on Youtube on tv. LOL. Happy it's only -10C! Got me thinking about Winter Drinks!

I think peppermint tea is my number one choice, tho I am partial to gingery (or spicy) teas like chai. Mmmmm

What are your favourite hot drinks to warm the body and the soul? Do you have a favourite mug?

Bengali Spice herbal tea for me. One of my students exclaimed “what is that? It smells like you’re drinking a holiday candle!”

The holiday drinks at Starbucks are my comfort drink on a cold day… - Chestnut praline latte is my go to, half the syrup, no whip ☺️

Hi Liv Lite, and all peeps. I read about the hypothyroidism and diabetes and post meno. I have hypothyroidism (Hashimotos) and am also post meno. Forefront health sells raw dessicated bovine thyroid that get the metabolism going. I bought the lowest dose and can only take it once or twice a week. I recently started to take R-alpha lipoic acid. It is different than regular alpha lipoic acid. I am only taking 100 to 150 a day. It is said to help with depression, neuropathy, metabolism and issues related to hypothyroidism. We make less as we age. It has helped me a great deal. It's Recommended to take with a multi that contains biotin.

An idea from my creative daughter: sugar and cream in my coffee, add a peppermint tea bag… tastes like a candy cane latte without all the calories!
