cmroberts72's Journal, 08 June 2009

I went over points yesterday, but as I said in my journal yesterday, TOM is here and I'm so hungry! Therefore, I deliberately ate a larg(ish) meal; however, I also made sure I exercised a great deal by biking 12 miles. According to the FS calorie calculator I didn't work out that hard, but FS doesn't know the hill I had to walk up pushing a bike! So, I'm letting the exercise points count towards eating for yesterday.

Today we're going on a 4 mile bike ride since we worked out hard yesetday. Then tomorrow, it's 12 miles again.

There's a device that you can put on your bike which tells you how fast you are going, distance, time and calories burned. The calories aren't 100% accurate, but their not far off (it doeasn't take into account your age and weight, exertion et.) But it's cheap and you can put it on the bike. I use mine all the time.

Yeah, I have one of those, but mine doesn't do the calories. I like it though because I like to see how fast I'm going. FS says anything under 10 mph is "leisurely". Pfft. I'd like them to do the hills around my house faster than 10 mph! LOL
