Real cappuccinos, protein cappuccinos, the occasional protein shake, fruit, yogurt, oat crackers, oatmeal, boiled eggs, almonds. Snacks are part of the way I eat so I don't see them as something bad or that I should eliminate. I like eating 5 to 6 times a day and get energy at the best time for my activity, so that's what I do. Sometimes I workout late and if I don't have protein after that, I notice a big difference in how quickly I recover.

Popcorn, fruit with whipped cream, sugar free jello, string cheese, or a Greek yogurt are my general go to. All less than 100 calories

if I'm hungry I have a meal. when I snack most times I'm still hungry and want another 'snack'. and I've noticed the times I have snacks throughout the day I go way over my calories. if I eat an actual meal I'm usually good for a few hours and not so hungry during the day

No snacks, no grazing. I eat when I am hungry & anything that passes my teeth I consider a meal. Today, for example, is a good case in point. My true hunger hit before I had my meal cooked (the shrimp & sausage I posted earlier). So, I ditched the side salad idea but ate some individual ingredients a bit earlier (a 2" piece of celery with 1 teaspoon peanut butter, 1 oz hard salami, 1 oz pepper jack cheese). All those ingredients except the peanut butter were already planned for the salad, I just ate them earlier...and I count it all as 1 meal since I ate all within a 1 hour period.

When I cut calories I didn't have alot of room for snacks, but now that I'm in maintenence I do snack! But trying to do so within my calorie range. I would have an after dinner snack though with protein instead of sweets. A Greek yogurt with 15g protein or a beef stick for 70 cals. Occasionally cheese around 100 cals. Maybe popcorn. Just budget them in to your daily intake and you'll be fine!

No snacks, no desserts. Snacking made me fat. I eat fresh fruit for breakfast and then a late lunch and dinner around 9 or 10 p.m, so I don’t go to bed hungry.

I don’t snack, but I also eat three meals a day so there is no need to. Rare to occasional portion controlled dessert at night.

I generally don’t but if I do, it’s some nuts or SF nut butter on either celery or a LC piece of toast with berries. SF yogurt and berries also.

When I was working (and lost the majority of my weight) door to door my work time was about 10 hours. I brought morning and afternoon snacks to work and mainly/mostlly the same items as others listted above. It kept me away from the candy machines and grabbing random donuts and cupcakes from the break room. It also allowed down time from work. For the past two years no snacking just 3 meals a day. I find focusing on meals instead of snacks is better because it means I am spending less time every day obsessing over eating and food. It is also easier to balance each meal nutritionally instead of spreading food intake out throughout the day.

I'm retired and am home most of the time. I do snack, but I measure/weigh everything and log it as a snack. My go-tos are wasa bread with hummus or peanut butter powder (reconstituted); sliced apple with cinnamon; greek yogurt with protein(Light & Fit); SmartPop 100 calorie popcorn; grapes; sugar free choc pudding cups and single Hershey's kisses for the choc fix. I try to keep each snack at 100 cals or less. I stop eating at 6:30pm....no more food till morning! Best of luck to you as you learn what works for YOU!💙

Thank you everyone for sharing your habits, and your go to snacks!! We all learn when we share! And its great to see so many committed to whole & natural foods, and proteins as healthy snacks rather than the sugary manufactured kind!

We have our moments of sweet & sugary - my favorite snack is still the small Oh Henry bites - with nuts * chocolate ---- I do not have a snack - I log in a fruit or nuts as part of my daily food plan - I eat 4 meals per day to negate any concept of hunger - I am against hunger - I do not snack - I eat a meal - when I have true hunger I am filling that with nuts and raise my protein levels to negate that feeling -- I am also against - what I call "gut fillers" - I drink to fill my thirst - not my gut.

Some people will plan their food around meals and healthy snacks but I think for me and many others snacks are entertainment ... so potentially not very diet friendly

Well, I hardly ever snack any more, but I include my sins to the main meal!
