Early 60s lady living in Canada. Embarking on my third or fourth or fith round of taking the weight down. i have used Fatsecret all times. It is a good place to hang out with inspiring and nice people.

Getting to it a bit earlier this this which is progress. i low carb which makes me feel good and do some exercise most days. I like running, walking, yoga and some lifting

Hi Welcome. In my opinion the best way to take advantage of fat secret is to keep a journal and share with with people as well as post on other people's journals. So if that is for you make your account public and start sharing. As for calories... yeah it all depends on where you are at and your current size etc etc...The sort of generic advice is to know what you maintain at and then cut from that

They indicate how close you are to your goal. I am not sure about the specifics. Red means you are far away and green means you are at goal.

Can't get into ketosis
Hi Elizabeth. Is it possible you were more active last summer. I know i am. I think that if you are seeing ketones body is making them. Good luck Hope you will journal so we can swap ideas
