Just came back from the Steak Dinner. Had a good time though initially I did not want to go. All went well today, halfway fine today until I realized the date. It's exactly 6 months that I got dumped, sold, traded... well, a difficult and painful story. Bad part is despite all the pain he caused me, I still want him back. Of course, being all in tears, nothing making sense at all I did not have any desire to go anywhere, mingle with people. A friend convinced me to join them and it did some good. I had a very interesting and intensive discussion with someone about science, of course ending up with the most talked about topic, Ebola.
I had a delicious steak, not small and I had the feeling I was eating on it endlessly. A little salad on the side and a cup of wine. That was it. I had taken a sweet potato as well, not sure what to do with it. Then there was the lady across from me who craved a second sweet potato. So I gave her mine. See, that's why I picked it, so I could give it away :-)
