Six hours of sleep, followed by two hours of drowsing while listening to podcasts.

Morning plank. Ten minutes on the Air Walk Trainer first thing in the morning to burn off glycogen.

Today was a down day on the Alternate-Day Diet (500 calories).

Cardio: 1 1/2 hours on the Air Walk Trainer. Steps: 347 (Striiv Smart Pedometer).

I've been taking a break from weight training, but I want to get back on the horse. I also want to start back in using the stepper. The GoFit GoRoller Massage Roller with Myofascial Release Ball, Mesh Carry Bag and Exercise Manual, Red arrived yesterday. I'm pleased with the purchase. Unlike the 36-inch roller, it's the perfect size for working on the mat with my back. It's a foam-covered tube with a hollow core, unlike the 36-inch I got earlier, and not as firm. It's similar in design to the Grid, but a third less in cost. It also comes with a booklet which explains the exercises you can do it with it. The ball is made of hard material rather than a softer foam like the Gaiam Restore Hand Therapy Exercise Ball Kit, although they're the same size.

That's it for my fitness and health buys for a while unless I run across a really good deal. My next step will probably be to buy an Omron body composition scale so that I can start monitoring my muscle mass. After that, I'm probably going to make room to start back with the rowing. My next step after that will be a stationary cycle.
