Went for a run yesterday in my new Vibram FiveFinger Bikila LS!!!! They were so right about being sore. My calf muscles were screaming within ten minutes, but guess what....no shin splints, no smooshed toes, no knee pain!!! Totally worth not being able to walk like a human today!

The run was actually fantastic. The only thing I missed was being able to feel the cool grass on my feet, it was that close to being barefoot. I ran in the grass and it was nice that I didn't have shoes that twisted my ankle this way and that from the bunches of grass sprouts. The FiveFingers allow your foot to land and act naturally on surfaces that aren't level.

Once, a lucky piece of mulch got me right between the toes where its all fabric. That hurt, but what's funny is I inadvertently pick up a dandelion or two along the way. :)

Ya know, the more I wear them, the more natural they look and the happier my feet are.
