It's supposed to snow today. Not much mind you, but a little. It's great for driving the Elk down to lower elevations, but bad for my activity routine. Since the kiddos have been back in school and the daylight burning out faster, I've had no activity routine. So today after making the mortgage payment, I need to see if I'll have enough money to register hubby and I for the gym.

This weekend we plan to go out to one of the Mountains we know the Elk populate to practice our calls. They'll be in rutt, so hopefully we'll be able to call some of them in, and I hope to shoot some decent pictures. Rifle season opens the beginning of October. So I'll probably carry my rifle and my pack to help continue getting conditioned to the additional weight while we're out.
