susan4animals's Journal, 10 September 2014

It seems I've plumped up ever since starting this program. I'm going another way now, but will continue to show my results every day. My old system works much better. Instead of realizing I can eat so much per day by counting calories, I'm only going to eat small bits when hungry. That's how I used to do it and will do it from now on. I wanted to lose less than 10 lbs and now have to lose 18 lbs. Ridiculous! I hope this works for most people. For me, I guess I need to stick to what works for me!

I see that you set your RDI to 500 calories. You will slow down your metabolism and get sick in the process if you are too long on a that restrictive diet.

Concur with Snezica, but also see that you consistently are eating higher than that. If I could make a recommendation... same one I make to everyone... visit scoobysworkshop.com and read "losing weight and 6 pack abs" and his Nutrtion page as well. Then use his calorie calculator to determine cals required, and macro splits... I suspect your protein levels are too low, and fat levels might be a bit high. Balance these macro everyday (+/- 5%) over 4 meals and you should see cravings and hunger go away... along with FAT (not scale weight). Focus on your body composition, not the scale weight... a lean and fit 130 pounder is better than a skinny-fat 120 pounder! You have the drive... let Scoobys nutrtion knowledge make that drive pay off!
