So, for years I've thought, "There has to be something wrong with me." I've tried and tried and made huge healthy choices my whole life. I never understood why I was so heavy. I just figured that I didn't get it, even though I thought I did. I struggled, I hated myself and always gave up.

I was talking to my sister-in-law a coule weeks ago. She said to me, "You know, you eat really well and .... maybe you should have your thyroid checked." Then due to to some other female issues, my aunt said, "You should get checked for a hormonal imbalence." So... I went to the doctor last Monday. Guess what? I have PCOS.

It causes it to be extremely hard to lose weight, yet its the thing I have to accomplish to make the rest of the symptoms and the health risks go into remission. So, now that I know what beast I'm battling, with the help of my awesome doctor, I'm full of fight.

Eating low carb has been really helpful for me re my PCOS, and also diabetes. It is worth looking into.
