afd's Journal, 11 March 2011

I've been doing fairly well this week. My meals have been healthy. Today was my cheat day and I had 10 french fries as a part of my dinner. My husband told me today as we were eating that I was fat. I haven't told him that I've been watching what I'm eating. He really hurt my feelings. I'm trying. it's frustrating and hard to stay positive when he critize's me. I do need to lose weight, but I don't need his negativity.

I think you should tell your husband that his comments do not motivate you at all. If my husband told me I was fat...i would be more likely to eat the whole container of fries. Lol. Sounds like you are working very hard!! Keep your head up and think about how good you will look in a swimsuit this year!!!

Do this for yourself--lose weight. Ignore the negative talk from yourself or anyone else that tries to sabotage you either consciously or unconsciously. You are doing fine... it's others that say stuff like that comment that might need to work on a few things.
