I haven't written on here in a bit. So I'd thought I'd fill you guys in on what I've been doing that actually helped get down to 150.

I try to eat clean. Which means less processed foods. Don't get wrong I have my cheat days. I eat eggbeaters and love veggies. So my usual in the am is a nice eggbeater omelette with fresh mushrooms and spinach. I drink water all day. Accept for my morning coffee with skim milk and splenda.

I looooove salads and I don't use any special dressing. I mean it's salad how bad can tons of romaine lettuce and grilled chicken or grilled steak be. I use Newman's Caesar dressing. The Non-creamy kind. For dinner I saute green beans or mushrooms or spinach or all of the above. Grill some chicken or steak. That's it. Keep it clean and make sure that I have more veggies taking up space in my plate than the protein I'm eating.

I grew up riding a bike and I started getting back on that. I bought a beach cruiser and a kid seat. "single mom" so I make sure I include my kid when I do my exercise. I also got into softball. I must say that keeping myself busy helps me not make so many trips to the fridge.

I work from home and that has been hard. I love to cook and so when I'm home all I think about is what I'm going to eat for dinner. As I'm thinking about that I'm actually eating breakfast. That's how sick my mind is. I just love food. I can't stop thinking about it. I watch the Food Channel and all the Shows about cooking. That's how passionate I am about food.

So when I say this wasn't easy believe me it wasn't. And I definitely have bad days. And I'm sure I'll have more bad days in the future.

I hear ya on being a food lover. I barely get to work in the mornings, and the girls in my office start talking about lunch plans. Before we get to lunch, we've started talking about dinner. It' crazy! I've had to cut down on watching my food shows because they make me hungry and I tend to snack more.
