Yesterday: Visit to University 3 hours away with my three kids who are still at home an attending college close by. All 3 have been accepted and are looking forward to going in the fall. My son will be a sophomore, my twin girls will be juniors.
I am sooooo happy/sad. Whatever are my husband and I going to do rattling around this huge house without them here?
Food and traveling weren't so bad, but I totally blew the carb count when I came home and ABSOLUTELY HAD TO HAVE fresh blueberries. And so, though all day I was picking and choosing the least of the evils in fast foods, (and after entering all here this early Thursday a.m.), I wouldn't have done so bad had I refrained from the blueberries.
Ah well...

when standing there with the fridge door wide, looking to find the thing that seeks to satisfy your desire at that moment... preplanned low carb snacks, already made, waiting for you... are a God-send! (blueberries are yummy! but may have to wait til you get closer to your goal weight). Great job on wrestling w/ the rest of your day, though...and coming out on top!
