Once again, over carb limit - 9 grams in Splenda! Way over the allowable amount, but can't seem to get a grip on the coffee/cream/splenda desire.... Hmmmmm, have to find a substitute....

I too am trying to cut the splenda and creamer. I have cut my splenda usage in half (down to about 3 tsp in my 2 cups of coffee)and will cut that in half again starting monday. As for creamer in my coffee one of my buddies suggested that I try heavy cream in my coffee as it has no carbs. I am going to the store in the morning so I guess I will start that on Monday too.

When I was watching carbs, coffee was something I missed so much. I always liked a little coffee with my creamer and sugar. I managed to go a week without coffee...but it wasnt pretty. I found that using the heavy cream made it really delightful and I could get aways with 1-2 splendas. Side note...I also discovered I was really touchy about caffeine and it prevented me from dropping much weight on the low carb diet. I started mixing decaf and regular til I got to full decaf and the weight dropped off alot faster with no caffeine in my diet. ( I lost 120lbs on low carb...just went wild when I went off..it all came back and brought friends along for the ride)
