had an off evening last night and today another off day. i'm feeling lost... frustrated, but it's not my diet that is the problem, it is the problems in my life that are messing me up. i ate fries last night. today i had a salad that i know was full of carbs. i wish the see the light at the end of the tunnel with all these problems so i can be more focused on my health. it's just so tough right now.

Wow, look at the loss since you have started! We are not always in control of our lives. Sometimes we have to do things, or deal with or be around things that are not pleasant. We DO have control over our carbs. You can 'show' those carbs by not eating them. You see those carbs and say to them 'You think you have power over how I eat? Ha! That's my power, I am in control over what I eat". It might sound funny, but some life problems may resolve themselves as you get closer and closer to your end goal weight. ~tig

thank you for your support tig... i know we all have to deal with issues in life. it is no wonder that i'm always heavy since stress seems to direct my life to often in the wrong direction. luckily, i feel strong this time around where my food in concerned, despite the slip. yes, slush, they were delicious and i didn't think one second while eating them. that is why food is such comfort for me. i completely detach from reality when i'm stressed out and feel the need to eat.... especially carbs. i'm good now... promise. : )
