So true— any “diet” works, low carb, low fat, vegan, Mediterranean as long as you follow it and couple with time and patience.

Back when I was a fasting and CIM zealot, I would have hated this so much and insisted it was all about insulin. The truth is, it's counter-productive for most to lose themselves in details that make little if any difference.

I'm amazed at how adaptive the human body is. my body doesn't seem to care if I eat protein every 2 hours like trainers from my past recommended or if I eat one 2500 calorie meal before bed. it adapts well. not my favorite thing to do as I prefer more consistancy but it works when time is gone.
