With my arms giving me some trouble (no advice needed), I start to think about progress and how slow it seems.
I started “working out” off and on over the last 10 years after about a 20 year break. Felt good, but I didn’t lose weight and it was very challenging at 50+ lbs over what I am now.
Over the last 2 years, I’ve kicked into gear. Year 1 meant losing 70 lbs and getting into the best shape of my life (sans a year or two in high school). Over the last year, I’ve maintained a s worked on body composition. That’s gone well with a couple breaks (Covid closures and family care) and I’m back to the best shape and maybe a little better?
Brings me to today. Feeling tired, feeling sore and question if there is progress. I know there is and I’m going to the gym. I know I’ll miss it if I don’t go, but I also know that the day in, day out grind is a grunts.
Thanks for listening.
