iamachristianjesusfreak's Journal, 11 February 2014

So I bought 30 cloth diapers, 24 washable wipes, 10 extra charcoal inserts and 2 wet bags today and that is a temporary ouch to see. But on the brighter side they will be way cheaper in the long run. I went with a company out of Canada called Lil Helpers. We went for the Organic Bamboo Charcoal diapers. They are for babies 7-35 pounds. We have almost all her clothes for up to 9 months and still had a crib and high chair. The only other big ticket thing we need to get is a car seat and stroller. Other then that it is just a few small things we still need. So excited to have so much ready already.

Never heard back from the doctor about my glucose test so that must be good news. Been feeling good other then I have ate out 4 times this week which I hate doing.... I usually only go out once every few weeks. Still been busy between wrestling and church so that helps time go a little faster. Got my 2 year old screened for speech and he will start seeing someone to help with that every Friday starting next week.

Planning on buying some fabric this weekend so I can get to work on making some things for our sweet little cupcake. I can't stop thinking about her! :)

They will definitely get cheaper on the long run :). Eating out is addictive lol. The more you do it the more you want to. You're all set! heheh

It was because I didn't have much choice 2 times. One was my parents came down and took us out to eat and to see the Lego Movie unexcpectedly and the other one I lost track of time and had to feed the kids before practice. I would rather eating my cooking 99% of the time. To all you who are in a country other then the USA can you send me a link for you vaccine schedule for children. I don't want to vaccine any more of our kids but my husband still feels half of them are necessary. Been trying to find medical journals that prove how harmful they can be but I think the stuff here in the USA is generally the government trying to control everything

I will try to find that vaccine schedule iamachristianjesusfreak! :) There are some serious diseases though that have mandatory vaccination here like measles, and worse. :)

Ok, it was fast finding it, the problem is, it's in Portuguese heheh. but where it says "meses", that means "months". Any disease you don't understand, let me know and I'll do my best to translate :) http://tinyurl.com/ph4d3qk

Where it says "nascimento" , that's "birth".

Some of these vaccinations are given all in the same shot, it appears...

Ok I just found a link in English. I don't know which one is the most updated but they're both pretty modern: http://tinyurl.com/qfuqyzo

I agree though that some vaccinations like the one for the common flu, are somewhat of an overkill :P In that specific case, I rather get a flu or two than taking a vaccine every year for it, since it's not a serious threat.

The last link allows you also to compare vaccination plans throughout Europe ;)

Yay, glad you got the diapers all squared away. Sounds perfect for you!! And I agree, no news is probably good news. I think people normally hear back soon if the glucose test doesn't go well.
