This is the first day of the new year where I'm watching my weight truly. I'm starting out a lot heavier than I thought -- 220 is about 10 pounds over where I thought I was. My goal is to lose 1 pound a week. This is possible provided I'm under 1,700 per month and put about 500 calories of workout in each night (which shouldn't be too hard with the shiny new elliptical).
220.2 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 32.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
