Yesterday was my first day on the Carb Lovers kick off diet. I was hungry quite a lot - particularly between breakfast and lunch - but I guess that is to be expected on 1200 calories. I was pleased to see how much protein the diet included on the first day. I guess the greek yogurt really made a difference! I was worried about cutting out artificial sweeteners - I use them quite a lot. A typical day could include sweeteners in two cups of coffee, a diet coke plus dannon yogurt with sweeteners. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and I didn't have strong cravings for sweet foods (which I often do).
Today is day two. It's only 9:40 am, and I'm fairly hungry. I may grab a few almonds or something to get me through until lunch.
