Well... there's a bump in the wagon trail. Gomez is upset because I am not eating. So in consideration for his feelings I have agreed to a 3 2 2 split schedule. So Fasting Mon tue and wed. Eating under 500 cal on thur fri full meals on sat and sun. not sure how this will work with my SNAIL METABOLISM... I assured him I am not hungry and that it is a normal human function to fast. Cited the hunter gatherer cultures. Showed him some Dr. Ken D. Berry and some Dr. Berg. Still not convinced. He says he loves me the way I am on the inside and that won't change how he feels if the outside of me changes. Lol I seem to be testing that... gained 20 since I got married.
I am VERY excited about my trip to Unique vintage store.. been peeking in the online store.... so many things....BUT i am not going to spend that amount of money to not be able to wear them in a few months. so I'm getting one complete outfit. Shoes and all. (We are both shoe whores so not getting out of shoes). Only problem with the retro stores is they cater to the younger set...there are things I can't get away with at my age. (need slightly longer skirts) Nobody wants to see granny thigh. I believe that my retro style sense will span a few decades. 1930 t0 1960. When women were allowed to be Individual in their dress but still feminine. It was good when the fashions changes slowly, This gotta have it! toss away culture has to stop. It is too hot here for me to wear jeans I only wear them when we go to Burro Canyon Shooting range. I like dresses as they seem to be cooler if one chooses natural fibers. I prefer medieval dress to be honest. Stays are so much more comfortable than a bra. I am currently sewing a set of casual jumps ( colonial era fitted stay in natural form) so no corset cinching just support. Wow Nothing like letting your inner NERD out to rant.

Do you have pictures of an outfit with stays? I’m not sure if that would work with my ample bosom 😉

Personally not a big fan of fasting and also believe that many people that fast don’t make their minimum BMR which makes burning fat more unhealthy as you are also jeopardizing stopping organ functions and burning muscles 🙏🏽

Fasting is a normal human condition... in the "good old days" you did not always catch something for dinner, thus went fasting or without. Since the farming and the industrial revolution 3 square meals a day began as a sign of wealth and affluence and became the norm over time ( at least here in the states). I am aware of other countries where the poor do not get 3 meals a day and are very lucky to get one a day( many times skipping several days). A Respiratory therapist friend from the Philippines described to me a typical meal from her childhood. It consisted of rice and half rotten fish with whatever vegetable matter could be scrounged. While that is a nightmare to the western palate... it is the norm for many and they are HAPPY to have it.
