Seems petty to be complaining about the weather when others have so many more significant problems (violent SIL, ill mother, etc). But just had to vent about 88 degree weather in LA in October, and 91 degrees expected tomorrow. This is what I get for clearing out my summer clothes in October. Shd've waited until December!

Oh, I miss the East Coast fall and spring seasons! Lived in Cambridge, New Haven, NYC for 20 years before returning home to LA.

Don't get me wrong...fall is actually my favorite, followed by summer, then by spring and then by winter...and I actually like snow...so really I like all the seasons. I just like the colder ones in shorter versions!!! LOL!

I love all the seasons, too. We don't get much variation here in LA, so I don't appreciate summer-like weather in November. Someone upstairs is having a good laugh at our expense. LOL!

we dont get any seasons here, except extra rain feb - may! (but we have been in a drought for a year, hopefully this coming year brings rain we need it badly) I was disappointed when I saw your journal comment, was going to ask what the weather was like, seems everytime we visit the kids in late oct or nov it is still so hot!!! I get enough of that here, hoping it cools down next week!!

Oh I love CA winters. I remember being able to wear shorts and flip flops in December most years.

FF, by Sunday, it's supposed to cool down to the high 60's. Will keep my fingers crossed for you.
