I'm fighting through some hunger this morning, but I'm determined to gut it out. There's NO reason I should be hungry after the good breakfast/lunch I had. I even had just a tad more coconut oil to help combat that hunger. Hunger Monster: GO AWAY!

No drop in weight to record here today, but in looking at my record at home, I've dropped 2.2 pounds in the last week, so all's good. As Heather suggested yesterday, I might sail right on over 150 and drop to 149 - and the BLUE line! Wouldn't that be great???!!! I'm excited.

There are storms all around us, but so far, we've lucked out and they haven't impacted us. Dogs and I went out walking (UGH Index a 9); full 3.1-mile route with Collie along for 2.1 miles and Lab along for 1 mile.

I cleaned out the charcoal grill, taking out the old briquettes that got too rain-soaked to be used again. The grill has a vent in the top that was closed, but it's not water-tight. When you get as much rain as we have received, the rain seeps through and leaves a gritty, muddy slick of charcoal remnants in the bottom - yuk! So now it's all cleaned out and left open to dry up before we put in the new charcoal to grill tonight. We've got a full load of meat to grill, with steaks, brats, and pork chops. Yum.

This weekend, we have a dinner out, either Friday or Saturday. At least the plan is to go to a really nice seafood place that has a good selection of Atkins-friendly entrees. I'm looking forward to it, but already keeping the option open to halve the entrée right away, keeping half of it to bring home. I'm also looking forward to a salad! I haven't had my typical salads during this Blitz, so having one will be a real treat.

Thanks Paula. But I think I might be pushing the envelope a bit too much lately. I had the hungries that just would NOT go away....so I took care of it. At least I feel better, physically, today.
