Rain :((. I know it's good for my garden, but I was looking forward to running today. Oh well. I didn't let it be an excuse. I ended up having a pretty good blogilates workout. I labeled it as "Calisthenics (Heavy)" because I was sweating pretty hard and didn't feel like blogilates HIIT is really pilates per say (way harder in my opinion).
Anyway, I was really proud of myself. A) I'm able to stay in plank for way longer than I could a few months ago. Like I can go for two minutes, no shaking. Last year I couldn't even do that for a few seconds! B) I CAN DO SPLIT LUNGES!! I did like IDK 15 and was so happy with myself. But after that I did squat jumps and I was DYING by the end of the workout.
I'm sorry if I seem like I'm bragging on myself too much, but I'm just really happy today. Despite the rain, I managed to find the rainbow, and I'm so ecstatic.
Feel free to brag on yourself a little in the replies. I love to surround myself with positive people, so that would be great :)

Awesome :). I used to go for 10 or 15km runs every friday, but since its been warmer, I prefer to sweat in the airconed gym :). So today I will do HIIT on a lateral trainer & then swing my kettlebell for 1000 reps. Its tough, but I feel great afterwards. Can't wait ! to find my rainbow :)

Congratulations! Brag away. I had a similar episode on Tuesday, but I took the low road. I was really hoping to go for a swim after dinner, but it was cool outside. It would have been perfect for a walk, but instead I stayed in and snacked . . . and snacked . . . and, well you know. So, the next time it happens that I can't get the workout I was wishing for, I will remember your strength and follow the rainbow. On a more positive note, I did take a 40+ mile bike ride on Sunday and am looking forward to another one this weekend; and if it's raining, which it might be, I'll think of your rainbow.

schmetterling34, that is so great! I've only gotten to a 5k so far. You'll find the rainbow soon enough, and when you do it'll be wonderful. Have a healthy and happy day!
