Sandy701's Journal, 11 October 2010

3 miles walked this AM; had to detour a large Golden that was leading its owner on a merry chase.

The weather is warmer than it has been and I purposely left the pool heater on overnight so we can enjoy what will probably be the last swim of the year. DH has been in the pool the last few days when I've just had the heater on during the daytime, but it's only slowly warming to the temperature range that I like. So, we splurged on electricity and let the thing run last night. This AM, the water temp is close to perfect, about 85 degrees!! That's MY kind of water temp!

We walked earlier than usual because we had a meeting with a rep about long term care insurance. It's kind of a depressing subject, but one that I thought we should at least begin to investigate. I've gone thru some situations with my parents so I want to be sure we think things out and look into all our options for ourselves. It's a whole lot easier to do this at our age than wait until we're 70, 80, or older and wonder why we have no money and no place to live!

WOW, you had your plate full today. Great idea's about getting things taken care of ahead of time. Please take a swim for me. It was only in the 50's here today. Heard more geese flying south. Means, Canada has gotten that terrible S word. I love fall, but hate winter. Fall has always been my favorite season. You have a great evening.:)
