Well. What a day. Started out good. Full on keto breakfast and lunch. Outside doing firewood and then... cut off the end of my left ring finger in the hydraulic wood splitter! Wham. That fast. Trip to the ER. They couldn’t sew it back on. Half the bone and the entire fingernail are gone. Can’t go to work ( nurses have to wash their hands ten times an hour); can’t wash dishes; can’t do push ups or hold weights in hand. The next couple of weeks are messed up! Tree man was here today taking down two more huge trees. Now how am I going to clean up all the brush and wood? Agh! The good news is so far ibuprofen has stopped the pain. It is surprisingly numb. Grateful it was only one finger!
