Another 3 miles w/dogs accompanying me on the first half.

I'm set to get a haircut this afternoon which should be a routine thing, but for me, it's not. I still haven't found a good stylist since moving here just over a year ago, so this is yet another new one for me. I saw a woman whose haircut I really liked, found out where she had it cut, and today, I'm off to see what the stylist can do for me. I wear my hair short and natural, so a good cut is a must. And, to show just what kind of "dare-devil" I am (LOL!), this cut will be less than a week away from having our photos taken for the church directory. This could be interesting....

Oh, you are brave. I wear mine long and straight! Homage to the '70's!! lol Great job with the walk. How is the knee? Doing better, I hope!

Knee's about 95% which is good enough for me to pretty much ignore it. Now it just fits in with all the other aches and pains that crop up for a hsort time every now and then. I just realized this new hair salon might be in the same place as - or pretty close to - my favorite fabric/craft place, JoAnn's. I might have to include a shopping stop there. The salon is in the neighboring city that I don't often go to, so I'm hoping my GPS won't fail me.

Glad that the knee is getting back to normal!! I have those kids of aches and pains also! Have fun at the hair salon and at the craft store. I don't have GPS so you are already a step ahead of me!! lol Be sure to post a picture of the new haircut!!

Thrilled the knee's improving. you are brave to go to a salon you dont know, but if you liked the hairstyle you saw, it will turn out gr8,I wear my hair long and been dreading getting it cut, I used go to this college and they did it lovely, they closed down last yr, went to another one and they destroyed it, I've layers where i should'nt. But today my son won me a €100 vougher to get my hair done in one of the best places so I've to phone tomorow to collect it. Life is begining to get better at last, Hope hair turns out lovely. Let us knowXx

Carmel...with my DH in the military, we have moved around quite a bit, so it seems like every couple of years I have to go thru finding a stylist again. I actually feel it's one of the harder aspects of our moves! Last move, it took me over a year to find one and it looks like it's the same at this location. Luckily, I have a natural haircut style, so if a stylist does something I really don't like, it's no big deal, as my hair will grow and I'll be due for another cut in 4-6 weeks anyway. This new stylist I went to had some nice ideas and cut the top shorter - which is what I'd been trying to have others do - and I'm pleased with the result. The only problem is that it has now exposed all my gray roots!!! So, I'll be off to buy some home color product and I'll do that this weekend. I'm envious of your spa voucher. I love those places, but they're one of those expenses I'm choosing to eliminate. With my hair needing a trim every 4-6 weeks, I could go bankrupt going there!!!
