I would just like to say that this is the best group of people around here--there have been few times in my life when I have been eager to log on to the 'net to discuss my body issues (try never), but everyone here is sooo supportive and wonderful. I'm just amazed that total strangers actually care about what is happening to one another, and it just, well, frankly, it just restores my faith in humanity. I have just moved to a rather snooty area of Texas, and while I don't hate it, after having lived for 17 years in a small town where everyone knew my name, it's been hard to adjust to anonymous urbanity. Making friends in the physical world is a slow process at best, and though I am making strides in that direction I really appreciate the community that is offered here. Y'all just rock!
